Appearing as very special guests on the Juke Box Heroes tour whilst celebrating their 40th Anniversary are the legendary WHITESNAKE, who carry a rightful & righteous reputation as one of the world’s leading rock’n’roll bands.
Founded in 1978 by former Deep Purple singer David Coverdale, the band have earned multi-platinum albums including ‘TROUBLE’, ‘LOVEHUNTER’, ‘READY AND WILLING’ and ‘COME AN’ GET IT’ through to the explosive hard rock of the revamped ‘SNAKE sound with the multi-platinum ‘SLIDE IT IN’ & celebrating its 30th anniversary, 1987’s self-titled mega-million-selling smash-hit album, ‘WHITESNAKE’. Some of the ones you mentioned were indeed co headlining tours, However, Motley Crue was the headliner & Alice Cooper was the opening act. And on this tour, Foreigner is the headliner & Whitesnake is one of the openers. The way to tell is if it says special guests. A band is not a co headliner if they are a special guest

40!!! Years of WHITESNAKE in 2018.I sincerely hope,that the Choirs in Europe..especially the cradle of WS..the UK..will see a WHITESNAKE HEADLINER tour nothing else will do really,to celebrate this Anniversary.Would not hurt,to throw in a few SPECIALS either.. 😛

I’m sure that more dates will be added. They do not appear to be ‘co-headlining’ as the tour ad clearly states that they are ‘Special Guests’. Therefore, they are ‘supporting’. I don’t think Whitesnake have supported any band for 30 years – not since Crue in ’87. Not a good thing to be doing now, especially as they celebrate their 40th anniversary. I’m sure a headlining tour will follow…

I am looking at buying a VIP ticket for the concert at PNC in Charlotte North Carolina but what does it mean by on site VIP does that mean one of the band members is going to come out and greet the VIP people. Just want to know this before I buy one. I would love to get a photo op with Coverdale, I sing for a living myself and it would be an incredible to meet him, I’ve always been a huge fan.
